British Military Surgical Conference

The meeting is aimed at all surgical specialties from both regular and reservists in all three UK services.

The conference is been held in conjunction with the Military Surgical Society and encompasses all branches of military surgery. This year additionally delegates from the Defence Medical Services of nearly 50 nations [NATO countries and the G20 group of nations] are invited.

The organizers expect 250 delegates for the two-day conference scheduled for Thursday 23 - Friday 24 April 2009.

Venue is the Millennium Hall at HMS Collingwood, Fareham, a big naval base in Portsmouth in the United Kingdom.

The aim of the conference is to bring together not only experts both clinical and academic but also trainees and paramedical practitioners who will benefit from the broad scope of discussion the meeting generates.
